Not only that, but you can expect brand-new, sub-par pan and scan transfers and higher prices for all of your favorite titles!

I give MGM a lot of credit for releasing DVDs for under $10. Other companie$ should emulate that.

Don't forget dual-sided/dual-aspect ratio releases silently converting to single-sided pan-n-scam releases with the same UPCs, and sometimes even retaining the "widescreen" indicator on the packaging. Curse you sony and wal-mart!

I actually wish that all of the sets had Enlgish, Spanish, and French audio like the first set. 5.1 for English and Dolby for the other two. I wonder why they stopped with Spanish and French after the first season.

Well, nothing personal, but I speak neither. Although I do recognize some Spanish both verbally and written from my HS and college days.

1.66 anamorphic transfers are useless for those with 4:3 sets with anamorphic squeeze are they not? As 4:3 anamorphic squeeze automatically squeezes to 1.78 or even 1.85.

A 1.66:1 anamorphic transfer has the image contained in a 1.78:1 frame with black space at the sides, similar to the way an anamorphic 2.35:1 transfer works. It'll look just fine on a 4:3 set with anamorphic squeeze.
