Excellent, thanks for the info! I'm glad to see the episode, "Up at Bat", is listed for this last set. On another forum, it was discussed if that episode belonged to Season Two or Three.

So, are proper releases of the Movies next? I know "Rescue from..." Is available in about 10 different versions, owing to it's apparent Public Domain status, But there are 2 other reunion movies that aren't available...

They should make a Gilligan's Island Movie Collection (all 3 movies with remastering and widescreen if available). I think they are all fullscreen though. Go with 2 double sided discs with just a few special features and sell the whole set for $15-$20. There is a market for that.

I agree with a movie collection. I would definately pick it up if it existed. As all GI movies were made for TV, I don't think WS exist, as OAR was 4:3

Glad the last season is coming out sooner than expected, but disappointed there is no mention of any extras. I was hoping they would make up for few extras released on the previous seasons.

Do you guys do a marathon where you watch an entire season of Gilligan's Island over the weekend, or do you stretch it out over a longer period of time?
I can watch the entire Freaks and Geeks set in a few days, and when I'm done, I feel that my brain has been stimulated, and I feel really happy and relaxed.
I always loved Gilligan's Island as a guilty pleasure kind of thing. But I'm worried that if I tried to watch a whole season in just a few days, I'd end up feeling drained and tired.
Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on this?

I prefer to spread out my televison series viewing over a longer period. I tend to get burned out if I try watching an entire series in a few days. One or two episodes a day is more than enough. However once in a while I may watch 6 to 8 episodes of a series if there is nothing else to that day.

So far, the only TV shows that I've bought are the serious, intelligent ones, where I know I can enjoy watching the whole thing in just a few days.
Still, though, Gilligans' Island has always been my favorite guilty pleasure TV show. Maybe I will buy it eventually.

Warner Bros. appears to have used the wrong 3rd season opening credits for this set. The dubious mix-up of Mary Ann and the Professor as they are pictured in the opening credits is now the official opening for all the episodes I have watched so far. This is an error that has been seen previously(http://www.gilligansisle.com/nicknew.html). The TV Land VHS recorded copy I have of one of the 3rd season shows does not have this mix-up. Oh, well, if that is the only error then that is better than some other TV set errors. At least "The Producer" episode on DVD runs at around 25:17 vs. my TV Land copy running at around 21:52 so that is good...
