Colorado serial killer's dad sells DVDs

DENVER, Colorado (AP) -- The father of a serial killer is selling DVDs of his son's videotaped account of how he lured women to his house and strangled them.

Richard Paul White is serving life in prison without parole after pleading guilty in the slayings of three people. He told police he killed three others and buried them around the state, but he has not been charged in those cases.

Randolph "Duke" White said he has sold some copies of the confession, and plans to release a second DVD this summer that shows his son speaking to God after police left the interview room. It was not immediately clear how he obtained the videotape.

Is it signed?

Should I go ahead and double-dip or wait for the HD version?

I'll pay $1.

Edit: Make it one penny....and they pay shipping.

I thought this was going to be about the killer's dad selling the serial killer's DVD collection. I was looking forward to seeing what a killer had in his collection.

Did you read the whole article? He wants $39.95-a Criterion price. Although, a portion of the proceeds will go to the children of the victims, and he said some money would also go to his grandchildren, who he said were traumatized when they had to testify before a grand jury about their uncle.

I don't see why he has to release the extra footage in a separate DVD. He could just do an extended edtion.

I'd be worried we'd share too many of the same DVDs

Think I'll wait for the re-released editions where the victims shoot first.

If you actually want to buy it, it's available here:
http://www.rarefaith.com/

Not only is it 39.95, there is also an additional 6.50 shipping charge and it says it may take 'up to 6 weeks' to deliver.

Ah, America. Land of the free and home of people trying to cash in on others misfortune. They absolutely have the right to, but when is that right taken too far?

It's nice to see that some of the proceeds are going to charity though.

Randolph "Duke", eh? Kind of makes you wonder if his brother Mortimer bet him $1 he couldn't sell any of these?

I'm sure it'll make it to BT/Ares/etc

What a waste to pay all that money for it.
