At one point last year I purchased 10 all at once with a vacation cheque from my job. These werent just any ordinary movies either they would have been import's and TV shows. I think I spent about 400 dollars in all.

I am not sure, but I would estimate around 75 to 100 dvds in one day. However. my record is around 200 VHS tapes.

I think 10 or 12. And only because DDD doubled my order by accident. My order was 5 or 6 and I get two boxes of identical titles. I sent the other back, ironically, one of the titles had a bad disc, and the duplicate was bad as well. Major surface flaws. Delamimation or swirly marks galore.

The most I ever got in a day was 36 discs of Friends (Seasons 1-9). Take away the deal, and it is 7 single ones.

I think I remember him saying that he did have insurance on them, so most, if not all of his expenses were covered.

Probably a dozen or so during the first DDD 20% off sale, but I get boxes of half a dozen or so from Geoff every few weeks. *nyah*

I may have a large library, but I've never bought more than 10 or 11 at one time. Thats what I also average per week....but I really don't keep track. My goal has been to get to 2,000 titles but I'm not going to go out and just buy a bunch of dvds just to hit the mark. But what happens if I get a special gift of a $1,000 tip on one of my jobs? OK....I'll spend it all on dvds.....

Too bad the most I've ever been tipped on one job is about $200.

I bought 120 or so titles in a 4 hour period at a Chiller Theatre convention - most were imports!

You remember correctly. It was 275 titles (closer to about 350 discs) which I got from DDD last November. Saved about $700 & got a lot of movies for way less than I paid for them as they'd gone through a couple of price reductions from when I'd originally bought them new. I actually came out pretty good though it's not something I'd like to go through again.
