I don't own it, but I've seen Blood Feast. Pretty gory for it's time.
Anyhow, their library never at all appealed to me. Seemed like mostly cheesy, obscure low-budget oddities.

Basket Case - Special Edition
Blood Suckers / Blood Thirst
Bloody Pit of Horror
- Special Edition
Carnival of Blood / Curse of the Headless Horseman

Something Weird Sampler - Highly recommended. About 100 trailers from their catalog. Thanks to the sampler, I found Bloody Pit of Horror. I had seen it when I was a kid but never knew the name but remembered a few scenes. When I saw the trailer I was giddy! "That's it!! That's the movie I've been trying to remember!" I ran out and bought it right away.

Yeah, I guess I went a little overboard. I like these "exploitation" movies a lot, they are the only true independent films. These films are not available for rent at Blockbuster or Hollywood, so I figured I should buy them. I had gotten within 10 of owning every release they had when I stopped buying all their releases over a year ago. It used to be easier to get good deals, plus most of the ones I bought individually were released as much cheaper box sets later. They used to come in the old "snapper" cases that nobody likes, so about half of them are in those. The more recent releases haven't been as desirable to me. I also have literally hundreds of unwatched dvds so it seemed like a bad idea to keep buying them.

I'd recommend the Herschell Gordon Lewis Blood Box, the Trailer disc, and Basket Case, but they're all pretty good and they are typically loaded with extras. Most of them have two feature length movies and 2 or 3 short subjects, a poster gallery and trailers of other movies.

I'm now in the same boat with Blue Underground. I'm buying almost everything they release. Fortunately, they are not coming out as fast as SWV was so I can pick most of them up at Deepdiscountdvd's sales twice a year.

Right now I only have Atomic War Bride ( Rat ) (1960) / This Is Not a Test (1962), though I have seen Basket Case & Blood Feast. I might get the disc of trailers.

I don't have any (have a few copies on VHS) but I've rented some from Netflix.

I enjoyed this enough to consider a purchase:

Defilers/ Scum Of The Earth! (Special Edition)

Don't own any as of yet, but have seen quite a few of them. I've actually been meaning to pick up Basket Case: SE, Night of the Bloody Apes/Flesh Feast, and 2000 Maniacs: SE.

TomOpus, thanks for the heads up on the DVD Sampler...will have to check it out.

Like most of them, it's kind of cheesy like a TV detective show from the mid to late 60's, (i.e. Dragnet). I remember the dissection of the victims was pretty gruesome the first time I saw it, but you see worse than that now on CSI.

I have Defilers/Scum of the Earth and Just For The Hell of It/Blast-Off Girls, both of which are great. I haven't been as eager to buy more of their discs since I got the Beauties And Beasts set, which has 3 double-feature discs and the trailer disc, since all the trailers and short films on those have the letters "SWV" onscreen in blocky letters on every frame. On some of them it's very subtle, but I don't want to encourage this practice- I've already given up on regular TV since the networks do the same thing, and don't want to see it go to the major studio DVDs. My eyes hurt from it after watching all of the Extra Weird trailer disc! The actual movies on the set don't have the letters and look great though, and the 2 other double-feature discs I have are clean all the way through, including some great drive-in theater trailers.

SWVs are quite hard to find at most stores. But my Tower Records had a batch of them for $10. So I went ahead and got my first SWV, Blood Feast. Note-Besides Mad Butcher, the only titles they had featured "Blood" in the title...And it might not help that I'm a day late to bring this news since that was likely just a Halloween sale.

oddly only Basket Case (Special Edition). Their a quite alot of titles I'd like to rent, yet Netflix for some reason or the other doesn't stock them - I have to wander over to Potomac Video and rent that way.

update (new additions):

Something Weird Sampler
HG Lewis Trilogy set
