I picked up those 2 Michael J. Fox Favorite volume or whatever they are called, definately some classics there. I really enjoyed the show, wouldn't mind seeing full season sets, although I'd probably just pick up the seasons where Fox starred.

I would certainly buy all of the Fox season....if they would release them! Any idea why these haven't been made available?

Two possible reasons:

1) Negotiations with cast.

2) Music problems.

Seems to be the most common two reasons these days...

What kind of music problems could SC possibly have? I don't recall it having anything major in it at all.

I passed on the "best of" discs because, well, they are "best ofs." I want sets. Hopefully they will see the err of their ways. The first few seasons with the big cast were great. As the cast dwindled so did the comedy, but it was still a solid show til the end.

I usually don't like the best of discs either, but between the sets there's a solid 20 episodes, some defininte classics. I've been enjoying these for like 2 years and there hasn't been any notice of full season sets coming so I've been pretty satisfied.

I'll be in line to preorder this set when it goes up on Amazon. I've been waiting for this to happen for years. Really funny show and I'll pick up every season.

Yep. My DVD buying has dwindled, but I can't wait to get this. Now if only they'd get Mad About You and NYPD:Blue back on track.

It's funny. the other day I was thinking to myself... "I really liked Spin City, how come I haven't bought any of those sets?" Then I remembered that none existed.

Then, I come across this thread today and all is now good.

I loved the MJF seasons of Spin City. Once Charlie Sheen was in the picture I stopped watching it (I think he's better on Two & A Half Men). can't wait for SC on DVD. Now if only they'd release Ally McBeal seasons on dvd.

Thank you SHOUT!

I love this show - mainly the MJF episodes, but the Sheen ones were good too.

I did right before I posted. I wasn't going to share that one though. That's one of those deals where a few might slip through, but if people start ordering en masse the party's over.

I'd recommend editing your post so a few of us might get through.

Nice.

I had been thinking about this show, for some reason, while rewatching "Back To The Future". I've never seen it, but wasn't too interested in the best of's collections. Good to see it's finally coming out. If I can't get it on a certain large online book/DVD/music e-tailer whom I'm apparently not allowed to mention, then I'll pick it up elsewhere eventually.

Yesssssssssssss! I was really, really tempted to go to a bootleg site to buy this, but now I won't have to. I agree with the earlier posts in that the show, for me, really went downhill when MJF left. Sheen's o.k., but on SC, I just couldn't stand watching it anymore. Thank you, Shout!

It's not that hard to find/figure out anyway. It's just not in big bold neon letters for everyone to see. Chances are still pretty high that it won't go through anyway.

I'm there. Always enjoyed it when it was in syndication on FOX and still like to catch it on FX when I can. Not a groundbreaking sitcom by any means, but certainly a cut above the rest aided by a fantastic cast.

Re: Any chance of a full Spin City release?

Looks like season one sold well enough to warrant a season two release. I've actually just been watching it during the winter rerun season. I must have totally missed out on the first season originally because I don't recall Carla Gugino being in it at all. It is kinda cool seeing all kinds of cameos by people that have become more famous since then.

Set for April 28th, no amazon listing yet, but tvshowsondvd has the cover art.

She went from Spin City to Sin City. I was upset at first then we got to see her naked. If they'd only release Karen Sisco.
