you will love it.

Its been a slow month overall, picked up Sponge Bob for the kids last week, Finding Neverland next week but this Tuesday is the big one for the month, maybe the year. Yes, The Incredibles. I saw this in theaters and like Brad Bird's previous and much underappreciated effort, Iron Giant, I absolutely loved it. He definately brings a more personal, matureness and intelligence to his works. His movies are not just for kids. Plus, this will become a reference disc I'm sure, takes awhile to get started but once the action gets going, it takes you for a awesome ride, great great stuff.

sorry, I have been waiting for this and ecstatic that its only days away !

Wow, after getting nothing this week, the 15th is a very nicely packed week.

Very eclectic:

- A modern animated film: The Incredibles - actually, I already got this a few days ago, and it is one hell of a great dvd!
- 3 classic film Noir: Laura, Call Northside 777, Panic in the Streets
- 5 Classic MGM musicals - another great box from WB: Broadway to Hollywood
- A classic samurai film: Sword of Doom
- A classic Euro/new wave film: L'Eclisse
- A fun sci-fi movie: Star Trek, First Contact:SE

The end of an era... My last STL preorder is for NewsRadio, so it looks like I might still be an Amazon customer until "January 1, 2010."

This week I'm just getting Laura. At some point I'll get The Incredibles and two of the Criterion releases.

Expensive week!

Broadway to Hollywood: Classic Musicals Collection
Laura: Fox Film Noir
Laurel and Hardy II
(According to the early reviews, it's another dud from Hallmark, but my copy is already in the mail)
Panic in the Streets: Fox Film Noir

B&M pickups:

Hogan's Heroes: The Complete First Season
The Incredibles: Widescreen Edition

Later on down the line:

As Time Goes By: Complete Series 7

The Incredibles.

First DVD I've bought since January. Puts a smile on my face, but makes my budget weep with Finding Neverland and Closer coming the following two weeks.
