Might buy em both at a used store, and neither have slip covers, i thought they might come with them new, do they?

The HAD slip covers, but they only lasted a few months in the stores. Now I just see plain keepcases--so you're fine buying them used as "new" won't get you anything more.

my region 3 edition has a slip cover but a little plain looking than the shiny 3d slip cover region 1 edition has. bought the region 3 version for the cantonese dub featuring the voices of Lau Ching-Wan (Black Mask) and Theresa Mo (Hard Boiled)
