Any plans for Ed on DVD?

Any plans for Ed on DVD?
I never caught Ed on TV when it first aired. I didn't know much about the show and I seem to recall it was always on against something else I did want to watch, but I caught a rerun on TBS the other day and it really struck my interest, and I know it is a series I could get in to. Given the fact it ran for what? Four years? It surprises me there are no signs of a DVD set of seasons yet on this. Anybody know if there are any in the works?

If I remember from what I heard on a website somewhere that the producers said Ed would be able to come on DVD one year after it ended. Which is pretty much close to now I think. I wonder if we'll hear news soon?
EDIT
I found the website its Stuckyville.com. Here's what they said
UPDATE: 2/09/04
Direct from Stuckeyville;
There is no current DVD or Video release available from the series
Contractual issues prevent either from being released until one year after the series halts production on new episodes.
If things go as it stands, this would be one year from now, possibly Christmas, Dec. 2004 at the earliest
There are two possibilities being considered. The first is the typical box set, one for each season. Or another possibility is that the collection will be a compilation of the favorite episodes of the series creators in a smaller set of DVD s rather than every episode. The decision as to which one of these two options will actually be released has not been made as of this time.
As far as a musical soundtrack containing songs used in the series, at this time, that looks unlikely to happen
Thanks

a woefully short four years..
that Stuckeyville update is kinda old. i'm hoping that when it does come out, it retains the ORIGINAL music.
but for some reason I doubt it.

i think (my opinion) that one of the reasons we are having to wait so long is because TPB are trying to get clearances for the original music. the creators know how special ed is to all of it's fans and i think that they are probably doing all they can to keep it as it was originally aired.

I don't think we'll ever see Ed. Hell, I'm still waiting for Picket Fences!
