I'd like some news on Million Dollar Baby and The Aviator!

Best Picture nominees (particularly the winner and leading contenders which these two are) are usually slow to come out. They use the publicity of winning to get some more $$$ at the box office.
I imagine we'll see both around August. I"m undecided on picking up MDB as I didn't like it as much as most and I don't know that I'd watch it that many times in the future.
Definitely picking up The Aviator though.

From: Right now, my location is DVDTalk, but then again, you should already know that, shouldn't you?
All I want is for Warners to use the DVD release of MILLION DOLLAR BABY as an opportunity to also release an anamorphic widescreen Special Edition of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY.

May 24th, as Cameron said, for Aviator.
Videoeta is also "estimating" a June release for MDB.

You can read all about "The Aviator" and it's 5/24/2005 release date even on Amazon.com. Why don't people check their sites before they ask questions like this?! I'll never understand it. They do not yet list a release date for "Million Dollar Baby" though, so that's a good question.

DVDSoon are showing June 7th for Million Dollar Baby. I hope the widescreen edition will really be 2 disks and not 1 disk as was the case with Mystic River. I hated having to buy the 3 disk edition just to get the extras.

I don't want the bloody CD soundtrack or the thicker case that the 3-disk edition requires. Why are Warner forcing me to buy it just to get extras!!!

I really liked MDB, so I guess I'll get the 3-disc as well, even though it's, once again, a shady move by Warner Bros. to only offer a featureless 1 disc or a 3 disc that includes a cd I'll never listen to.
