Are these up for pre-order anywhere yet? Neither Amazon nor DeepDiscount has either the single Blade Trinity or the box sets up yet.

Up at DVDSoon.com

That is pricey for this kind of set (even after the discount). I'll still pick it up eventually because I don't have any of them. I will just hope for a huge discount :)

Does this hit shelves on 4/26 or 5/3? The release list here says 5/3.

DVD Polizei 04-18-05 09:05 PM

This is the ONLY one of Paul's boxes that looks dorky.

Animatedude, MRSP is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, it's basically the highest price that a store can sell it at.

Well now we know what FYE is going to sell it for.

DJ_Longfellow 04-20-05 07:38 AM

www.outpost.com has the box set for $40 I believe

Dr. DVD 04-25-05 10:10 PM

This will be at Best Buy right? I was told by my local one they would have it for around $50, but they are not that reliable.

$51.99 is what is listed on their web site, which I am sure is the store price.

slcsnkman 04-26-05 09:41 AM

I wouldnt bother picking up this set AT ALL. seeing as you have one of the most terrible actors in the biz and the 3 most horrific movies ever made...this is a total waste of money

listen noob. Threadcrapping is against the rules and a good way to get booted out of here. If you have nothing to say other than the movie sucks, then stay out of the thread. Don't like it don't buy it.

All about threadcraps (please read)

Mod note:
First off welcome to the forum  Second please take a moment to read through http://dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=235044 about "threadcrapping". Thx

slcsnkman 04-26-05 09:53 AM

im not crapping..im giving an opinon..you dont like it..then thats fine, that would be YOUR opinon. isnt it great..we all have one.

I just thought these movies coulb have been so much better..and then I was proved correct with Underworld.

nemein 04-26-05 10:03 AM

Mod note: Before this gets too out of hand please stick to the topic of the Blade boxset. Cameron please let the mods do the moderating/commenting on posts. slcsnkman while opinions are welcome what you posted is specifically commented on in the thread on threadcrapping

Can you give me an example?

One commonly seen threadcrap is someone posting that "___________ is a crappy movie" in a thread dedicated to information about the movie's DVD release. The point of the thread isn't to discuss the quality of the movie, but to discuss the movie's DVD release.
There's a couple of fairly simple rules to what is/isn't allowed at DVDtalk and they are there to hopefully keep the level of conversation informative and above what you find at other forums. Please take the time to look around and read through some of the sticky threads in the various forums to get a feel for the ins and outs of each area. When in doubt if you have any questions please ask.

I know this thread is not about pricing, but Walmart has this set for $45.28.

I haven't checked yet to see if my local store has it.

Yeah, they had it for $45 and change at mine this morning. Is that the best price so far? At least it includes the 2-disk set of Blade II.

QuiGonJosh 04-26-05 11:50 AM

That's cheaper than anywhere online I think.

M Polo 04-26-05 11:53 AM

I got it for $51.00 at Best buy...

juanmgonzalez 04-26-05 12:37 PM

Fry's - 34.95

Big Worms 04-26-05 12:44 PM

No Fry's in my area. :(

buckee1 04-26-05 01:26 PM

I saw it for $51.99 @ BB in Okemos.
