Too bad there isn't any commentary

I thought maybe this was an announcement for an even further upcoming release.

Well, technically it's correct. Both the theatrical and the uncut versions of Team America are uncensored by the government.

It will ruin the movie for you if it is. You'll see hands at the top of your screen and realize that the characters are puppets!

I was watching the news the other night. When the images of Kim Jung Il came on during the story about nuclear weapons I laughed. My GF asked why it was funny. I had to remind here how much the Team America puppet nailed him. I almost began singing I'm So Ronery.

In this case it may not. There is also a rated version (which the link above for DVD Answers shows) and it is widescreen also. The description just mentions the two versions that are both widescreen. If they do release a fullscreen version, it may only be the rated version.

Tell me about it. Every time I see him on tv I start laughing because the first thing that pops into my head is, "HERRO!!!! Great to see you again Hans."

Thank God the uncensored version will give us the full artistic effect of puppet salad-tossing.

The menus look nice and so do the extra features. I cannot wait for this dvd. It was one of my favorite films of last year.

I'm also interested in what makes this movie "uncensored and unrated" (although I hate it when movies use the term "uncensored" because the federal government did not threaten them to censor it, but whatever, marketing to ignorants). I thought this movie was bleepin' hilarious (just seeing the Kim Jong Il doll again made me laugh), but I liked the theatrical cut as-is and I'm not sure what the unrated cut contains.

For one, from what I heard the infamous "Puppet Sex" scene originally was a little longer and contained all the necessary FLUIDS so I'm sure if that is true we will get at the minimum that.

I like the theatrical cut cover but obviously I'll be getting the Unrated cut.

and as far as a commentary... I'll bet they'll put a drunken commentary on CD for sale on Craptv.com, like the uncensored Orgazmo drunk track.
