Observations and Questions from Batman & Superman: TAS
I've been watching the episodes of Batman: TAS and Superman: TAS recently on DVD and I had a couple of questions/observations:
First of all, on Superman: TAS I have always wondered if the creators intended for Lex Luthor to be black. His complextion is pretty dark, plus his facial features and deep voice have always made it appear to me like the character is black. Were the creators reimagining his character as black rather than white or am I totally seeing something that is not there?
On Batman: TAS one of my favorite episode arcs has always been "Heart of Steel 1 & 2" and "His Silicon Soul". Since the DVD releases are going by production order "His Silicon Soul" will be episode 60 rather than episode 43. In other words, instead of a handful of episodes between the "Heart of Steel" arc and "His Silicon Soul", there will be about 20 episodes inbetween. Since
in "His Silicon Soul" does that mean that as a viewer we are to suppose that throughout these 20 some episodes we are

Another thing I noticed about the Superman: TAS DVD set is that it is not in airdate or production order.
The order of the episodes in the collection are:
Disc 1:
1. The Last Son Of Krypton Part 1 (Airdate #1, Production #1)
2. The Last Son Of Krypton Part 2 (Airdate #2, Production #2)
3. The Last Son Of Krypton Part 3 (Airdate #3, Production #3)
4. Fun And Games (Airdate #4, Production #4)
5. A Little Piece Of Home (Airdate #5, Production #5)
6. Feeding Time (Airdate #6, Production #7)
Disc 2:
7. The Way Of All Flesh (Airdate #7, Production #6)
8. Stolen Memories (Airdate #8, Production #9)
9. The Main Man Part 1 (Airdate #9, Production #8)
10. The Main Man Part 2 (Airdate #10, Production #11)
11. My Girl (Airdate #11, Production #10)
12. Tools Of The Trade (Airdate #12, Production #12)
13. Two's A Crowd (Airdate #13, Production #13)
14. The Prometheon (Airdate #16, Production #27)
15. Blasts From The Past Part 1 (Airdate #14, Production #14)
16. Blasts From The Past Part 2 (Airdate #15, Production #17)
17. Livewire (Airdate #17, Production #18)
18. Speed Demons (Airdate #18, Production #22)
I noticed that in the episode "Stolen Memories" Superman already has the rocket that will not be introduced until "The Man Man Part 1". What order is Warner going by, it seems all messed up?

I know Lex isn't supposed to be black, he was modeled after the late Tele Savales (Kojack). The actor that plays his voice is Clancy Brown, who is also white (he's the Kurgan in the original Highlander and the guard in The Shawshank Redemtion). But the other questions I really can't answer, sorry.

You might wanna add Spoiler tags for those who don't know about
Just trying to be helpful. And I believe Bruce Timm & Company are the ones putting together the Batman & Superman sets so they are in the order the creators/producers of the show want, maybe the Production #'s you have are wrong
