Best Buy's Exclusive "Ray - Genius" DVD --Anyone Get It?

I was wondering if anyone has watched the exclusive BB DVD of the "Ray-Genius" special. They are selling both it and "Ray" for $25 at BB, but due to a computer glitch in ringing up the deal with a coupon, they sold them to me on seperate receipts. If the concert DVD is crap, I would probably return it and just keep the movie; but if it's entertaining, I'll probably hang onto it. Thanks in advance for any input.

I'm wondering about this, too. I passed on the film at Wal-Mart tonight because I wanted to take BB up on this offer. Hopefully it was a wise move.

Got both today, even though thanks to my inattentiveness, I didn't realize that it was basically a tribute to Charles. I was under the impression that more of actual Ray Charles would be featured, but that's my fault. Anyway, if you're a Ray fan, you'll probably like it, since the artists do his song catalog justice, although I would've enjoyed seeing more performances by Ray (even though this concert was done after his death). Overall, I'd only get it through this special, otherwise, I myself probably wouldn't have picked it up at its $15.99 price tag.

Um, I'm not a big fan of posthumous musical performances.

Thanks for the info. Still on the fence about keeping it.

I just meant it would've been nice had they thrown in some footage various Ray performances. They did that to close the evening, so it wouldn't have been unreasonable to add some more in.
