Elektra - (4/5/05)!

Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced Elektra which stars Jennifer Garner and Goran Visnjic. The disc will be available to own from the 5th April, and should set you back around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen along with both English DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks. Extras will include three deleted scenes (running to around five minutes in total), a thirteen minute making of Elektra featurette, a Comic-Con Presentation, an Inside the Editing Room feature which looks at the editing for several different scenes and both the theatrical teaser and trailer. Completing this new package will be a soundtrack promo and an Inside Look at the Fantastic Four and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Fox has yet to release the official package artwork I'm afraid, but we'll bring you that very shortly. Stay tuned. |
Wow, 2 1/2 months for the DVD? That's almost as fast as <i>Surviving Christmas</i> and they rushed that to get it out for the holidays.

I would like to hear a commentary from J Garner since she has spoken out saying this wasnt her best work, and wasnt a well done movie

She did not! You read that IMDB rumor posting about Michael Vartan saying she didn't like the film. Hardly "speaking out." |
still, that's pretty bad when you "hear" that the star is saying such things about her own movie.

I'll pick this up to put with my "Alias" DVDs... but my one question is this: If Jennifer Garner did do a commentary what would be consist of becuase her "Im sorry about this movie" repeated for 90 minutes?

Skipped it in the theater....Rather pick it up for $14 dollars than pay $19 at the theater.

I smell a Elektra:1.5 or Elektra:Director's Cut in November. I smell it like it will come out the same day Fantastic Four comes to DVD. This is a strong smell. And for once I hope it's real,as I want a SE of this. Again,I LOVED it.

From the negative feedback that Ive been hearing from this movie, I doubt that I will pick this title up. Even, Jennifer Garner in a sexy outfit couldnt make me want to buy this stinker.

When the first trailer was released I couldn't believe how bad the movie looked.
This is one DVD that I have no desire to ever own or see. |

I saw the movie and liked it. It's not great, but I found it entertaining and this is NOWHERE near the piece of crap the critics are making it out to be. I look forward to the dvd, I hope one of the deleted scenes is the Affleck/Daredevil cameo cause I wanna see it.
