Any chance of a TV Funhouse dvd (CC, not SNL)?
I've been recording the reruns they've recently been showing again on Comedy Central and I love this show. I think it was only for one season. For anyone that hasn't seen it, its basically a take off of a kids show, like Captain Kangaroo, but with all these depraved animals. Robert Smigel, creator of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, was the creator and, like Triumph, all the dogs have slavic accents. Any info would be appreciated.

I wish.
This show burned briefly, but very brightly. The trip to see Triumph in Atlantic City alone would be worth the price of the set.
Maybe there are some unaired episodes that would make for great extras on a set. Or a Triumph commentary.

I hope so. I just caught the last 3 episodes. I didn't even know they were re-running them until too late. Eight episodes cult fave seems a natural for DVD.

Damn, I would have loved to tape those. I have like 4 on a DVD-r but the quality is crap.
Hoping for an official release.
Please keep us notified if Comedy Central schedules these to show again.

I love this show but am in no hurry to see it on DVD - it's one of those shows I've seen so many times that I can just close my eyes and remember every second of it!
My favorite was the Fetal Scooby Doo cartoon - great stuff.

I'm watching a rerun of this right now (the Tijuana episode) and forgot how much I loved this show. So offensive, yet so funny. Any news on a DVD release, by any chance?

Finally! It's coming out on December 18th.

I sure hope it's the whole series and not a compilation.
(Several times I've been tempted to buy unofficial copies of this show off of ebay, thinking it would never get released; glad I held out.)

If this upcoming DVD is a complete series and not a compliation, and I'm sure it will be, it will be a must buy. I never saw much of the series but loved what I did catch.

yup, it was the Goulet one.
I liked the different beginnings where people would be looking at the host strangely because he was doing stop motion amidst foot traffic and stuff.
Now if there was a release for I'm With Busey, I'd be all set!

Really though, who am I kidding? I'll buy this no matter how they do it, provided it's the complete episodes.

I was certain this show would never make it to DVD - so certain, in fact, that I was experiencing the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance - or:
Drink
Alcohol
Before
Doing
Anal
