Got the email, too. So far, so good, Dreamworks. Keeping fingers crossed that they really follow through with good subs.

No luck so far finding the v.4 corrected DVD in stores. Anyone else?

I looked at about 14 different stores in the past week or so, and didn't find a single one. The one Best Buy I was at had about 15 compies of the film, and not a single corrected version. 4 Different Best Buys, 2 Suncoast's, 2 Media Plays, 2 Circuit Cities, 2 comic shops, 1 FYE, and 1 Coconuts. Nada. The folks over at animeondvd.com's forums don't seem to have found one either.

I'm just ordering the mailer, and when it shows up, I'll go buy the defective version, and send it right out. I've waited this long, I can wait another week or two...

I got the email today too. One step closer.

What the heck! It's now the 16th and I still haven't gotten my mailer! I signed up on the first day too.

I *MUST* see GITS2 again, and I'm so tired of waiting. You people are getting emails saying it's on the way back already and I haven't even gotten the stupid mailer! I am going to request a second mailer since it should have gotten here by now.

Not a good sign considering my mail has been stolen recently. I sure hope the real replacement doesn't get stolen :(

Has anyone from Canada gotten theur mailer yet? I received a mailer today but it wasnt for GITS but it was from universal studios stating to return my BTTF disc 2 and 3 which I signed up for but already got my replacement discs

I'm wondering if it was a mistake or if it was meant for GITS?

The GITS return mailer is also from Universal Studios but there is a return envelope the size of a normal paper sleeve and an instruction letter. The letter clearly states GITS and has a top portion with a barcode that you send in with your defective disc.

Has anyone gone out and just purchased the new edition? If you are tired of waiting, go out to BestBuy, go buy the new version and request your old edition from Go Fish. Then, take that one and sell it on Ebay. Its that simple.

How exactly do you find a retailer that carries the corrected V.4 version? BestBuy doesn't have it yet. Suncoast doesn't, ....

i've seen em around. however, i am hesistant on buying it until the price goes down...

Was at mall three days ago, saw V4 version at Circuit City, Waldenbooks and Suncoast. None of em sold for less than $26.

Maybe universal screwed up on me Oh well, I'll request a new one just so I can be sure dont want to send my disc the wrong way.

Would love to pick up V4 locally but nowhere near me is selling them yet. The things I do for anime :)
