Has anyone even received the mailer to send back their copy of GITS: Innocence yet?

That's a no for me too. I think I requested one the first day that IGN had the info on their site.

no mailer here, I entered my info as soon as I heard about it.

I know it's only been two weeks, but I thought that if someone was close to the mailing center, they might have received one by now.

Haven't seen it. Would people like a review of the updated version (V4)? I could do a new one, or tack it on to the exisiting review.

I would say to tack it on to the existing review unless there's more than the subtitles that's different.

Awesome news! I haven't even opened my copy of GITS2 yet because I've been so bummed about the captions. Now I'll just wait for the replacement. :)

I'm psyched that the mailer's going to Dallas - only three hours drive for me! hopefully it'll expediate things a tad - I'll keep ya posted.

Darn! They actually send out an email to acknowledge the receipt of your defective DVD. It would be interesting to see how they will package the replacement DVD. Hopefully it will be a little more secure than the way they ask for the defective disc back.
