Any Witchblade DVD news?
I know this series has been caught in DVD limbo hell, but I was just wondering if there's been any news on whether or not this series will ever be released.
I just checked the Amazon listing and they still have the "The studio is currently not producing this title on DVD," message, which usually means that there hasn't been any news about a release, so...
The question is why isn't this series, which a bit similar to the series Dark Angel, on DVD yet?

In recent Warner box sets, USA buyers have found a rebate form connected to the titles that are involved in the rebate promo for the Warner "50 years of TV" celebration that's going on all year.
Canadians found a similar rebate form in recent releases, and on it (but not on the USA form) one of the titles shown was "Witchblade".
Excitedly, TVShowsOnDVD contacted Warner in both Canada and the USA to find out more about this apparent Canda-only release (which we figured would be similar to the Canada-only Smallville 1-disc release that happened a year before Smallville season sets hit USA/Canada markets).
Warner told us very specifically that the Canadian rebate form listing that title was mistaken, and that Witchblade is DEFINATELY NOT coming to DVD anywhere in North America anytime too soon. A reason for that was not given, but based on the reaction my guess would be "rights".
