Hot to Trot?
I was watching the Richard Dreyfuss movie on TV "Let it Ride" where the horse from Hot to Trot is at the end.
Has anyone heard anything if Hot to Trot will be released on dvd anytime soon?
Starring Bob Goldthwait, Dabney Coleman and John Candy as the voice of the horse.

I'm not sure of which I'm more scared...
1) that I clearly remember HOT TO TROT
2) or the fact that there is someone else who does?
Eh, who am I kidding? I'd probably get it.

Ya know, I never actually got to see this film, but I clearly remember a tragic moment in my life, connected to this film...
I had seen a newspaper advertisement for this near the end of the theatrical run, and it had an 800 number where you could hear Bobcat, or the horse, or something, but I had lost the advertisement. I called information for 800 numbers, to see if they might be able to find it for me, and the stupid woman thought I was making an obscene phone call or something!
I was scarred for life!

It's been available from Warner Archive for at least a few months now. I intend to pick it up at some point.
I've placed several orders from them and have had no playback issues whatsoever.

Warner Archive had a comedy sale that sadly ended Monday, discs were $13.95 with free shipping.
I used t rent this movie as a kid all the time, I will eventually grab it.

In the last scene as a joke, Dreyfuss is walking away, by the stable. He passes the last horse and for some feeling he's getting, he looks back at the horse. It shows the horse's name "Don" on the stable. That's where the movie ends.
