Awards for Divorce Italian Style

Not too shabby for "not exactly...a classic."

Can't wait for F for Fake!

Well, I dont remember anyone ever calling me a zombie. And I dont think my comment was meant to degrade in a way the movies you mention. With this said Divorce Italian style...should without a problem be part of the Criterion collection.

Take these 'announcements' with a grain of salt until they are confirmed by Criterion.

There are delays on the Wajda box set that Mulvaney has said will push it back to Spring.

These would be some nice announcements though, so we should expect confirmation in the next few days.

Actually, it's bounds are usually centered around movies that were made before I was born (early 80s'), hard to get a hold of (as in, not on DVD, I wasn't into movies when VHS was around), or foreign movies.

As they come out on DVD, I can see them, like you old men did when they came to your drive in theaters in the 60's and 70's.

So yes, I'm ignorant as in I don't have the knowledge...yet.

I seriously doubt that.

Heck, he didn't even know who Park Chan-Wook was, before giving OLD BOY the Grand Prix at Cannes. Never mind that the guy is one of the biggest directors in Korea.
Yeah, but the guy has seen a shitload of movies.
Check online for his old Austin filmfest line-ups.
There are more than a couple of obscure titles in the mix.

Actually they aren't up on the Coming Soon page. You have to click on the individual titles. Very stylish art.
