Friday night lite: just watched Outrageous Fortune and Big Business (2 for $11 sale at DVD Empire) and a few more episodes of Three's Company.

Over the weekend I'll try to get to a few unopened DVDs sitting on the shelf, most likely Paris, Texas and Goodfellas, possibly Mystic River. Also some more of the Live Aid set.

I rented/watched this weekend 1/29 & 1/30:

1. "The Forgotten": Grade: C. Strong performance by Julianne Moore but film was so-so.

2. "Cellular": Grade: C+. Strong performances by Kim Basinger and William H. Macey. Again, film was just so-so.

3. "Alien v Predator": Grade: D. Entertaining enough but very cheesy.

4. "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow": Grade: B. Visually cool. Paltrow's character had no personality. I liked Law, Ribisi, and Jolie.

5. "Season of the Hunted": Grade: F. Direct-to-rental horror film. Horrible.
