Friday the 13th the Series on DVD?

Man, with all the crap they're putting out now, it seems like they'll release anything. So where is Friday the 13th the series? I'm dying to see this show again. Anyone have any info? I've even take rumors at this point.

I'd love to see it, but haven't heard anything.

I'd be interested for the right price. I was let down when I first saw it because there wasn't any Jason (or even references) in it at all. But this'd have to be an under $30 purchase if it ever came out for me.

The series had absolutely nothing other than sharing the same name to do with the Friday the 13th movies.

This is a show that has been on my "please come out soon!" list since TV Shows on DVD started coming out. I don't know why it hasn't yet. When Forever Knight came out I figured this would soon follow... Hopefully one day.

Absolutely. It was a great, creative show saddled with a pitiful name.

I remember this show being quite good, wonder what I'd think of it now. From what I remember it was cancelled?

i remember an issue of TV Guide saying that the network cancelled the show due to the show "hitting the Bible belt" too often with its Satanic references. that show would probably do well today; guess it was ahead of its time.

I would love to get this, I really enjoyed the early shows. Later on when they started replacing the origional cast members I kind of lost intrest, but i'd buy the early years ( one show I really liked was a two-part episode in a Amish community about them trying to get back a blanket that possed anyone who was in possesion of it.)
