Does Columbia Tristar still have the distribution rights for this?

I saw RAD at least 3 times in the theater. Whenever I hear that "Send Me An Angel" song I can think of is that silly dance scene. It had a great cast. Talia Shire, Ray Walston, Bart Conner... the list goes on and on...

This movie is on the top of my want list, I got the VHS rip DVD and that has satisfied me for a short time.

Rad would be awesome, but I'm still waiting on "Gleaming the Cube" to be reissued as well.

Give it time -- Criterion doesn't like to rush things.

I can't tell you how many times I watched this flick when I was a kid. Seeing it now would probably ruin the magic. I'm betting it was a really lame flick when viewed through the eyes of an older person.

No worries. I'm 30 and watched it recently and it still holds up. Granted the cheese became more cheesier, but it's still fun as hell to watch.
I'm hoping for a Special Ass Sliding Edition.

Yeah, I am 25 and when I got my laserdisc I watched by myself then the next day my brother came over (20) and we watched it again. I wore out the copy we had on VHS growing up. Yes it is cheesy, but it in no way ruined it for me.
I second the Special Ass Sliding Edition. Hope it comes out soon. My LD is starting to develop Laser Rot. In a couple of years it will probably be unplayable.
