Ha...maybe they think some dumb ass will watch it and think its coming out at the theaters on that date. Who knows.

Its ridiculous to me.

But you'd have to be a complete moron not to realize that the film "coming soon" is exactly the same one you currently have in your player.

Blockbuster used to put "Please rewind" stickers on their DVDs. Never underestimate how much of a moron anyone might be.

I share the same sentiments as you. Jack is just way too cheesy.

Which one? Jack Palance was much more over-the-top than I remember. Even saying the name "Lt. Eckhardt" sounded silly. At least he didn't tell Jack Napier that he crapped bigger than him. ;)

Side note: the actor who played Eckhart (William Hootkins aka "Porkins" from Star Wars) just passed away.

I totally forgot he played Eckhart as well! Wow.

R.I.P. Porkins.

"They went to comic book conventions across the United States, where fans were booing the concept of Michael as Batman, and they really felt we were bastardizing the idea.

"So Peter and I went into the editing room in December, cut a brief trailer and took it back to the United States. It had no narrative, no dialogue, no music, no credits--just some dynamic bits of footage.

Sad, but I bought these at last Nov's ddd sale and just broke them out this past weekend and was curious is the Batman trailer that they talk about on the documentary this one or the one that is included on the dvd?
