I own the previous Batman Legacy box. Will buying the new box be worth the upgrade?

So, is there any difference to the upcoming Batman: Mask of the Phantasm DVD or is it the same crappy one that came out originally in a keepcase?

I see the old set is only selling for about $15 on ebay. Do you think its even worth it to sell it or just keep it and double dip anyway?

since the old set has no special features, and more than likely a sub par audio/video compared to the new one...i would sell it off...or trade it in the exchange forum

I believe it's the same edition as before, but in a keepcase.

Crappy, double-sided discs with no extras and half-decent transfers, compared to new high-definition, 5.1 and DTS, 2 discs per film...I'd say it's just plain silly not to want to upgrade, unless someone just has the originals and doesn't like them enough.

I got all of this info at the British Board of Film Classification, (www.bbfc.co.uk). Included also is a NEW section of special features. I have know clue what exactly some are but they can be found in the Daily Mirror section. I know the first two films in the Legacy set presented in both OAR and open matte. Not sure about the others. So if having open matte versions of those is important to you, you would do well to keep that set and double-dip. Otherwise the Anthology set will improve on it in every other way.

Only meant to show confusion over the different running times for the Prince music video- since we have no way of knowing what exactly the 'short version' is...because the three times for the song are all different.

In other words, the was not used to represent you, but the whole confusion.

Sorry for the musunderstanding

Ah. Well, i'm sure they'll cut out the entire beginning of the vid [people talking and where Prince walks in, etc, etc] and just start it as soon as the music starts. I haven't watched it in a while...maybe i'll give it a look-see to get to the bottom of this nonsense.
