Drawn Together Season 1 (10/4/05)

The more I watch this show, the funnier it gets. I even catch jokes in an episode the second time through that I missed the first time.

Is that show still on the air? I'm amazed it lasted more than one or two episodes.

I would think that since the other comedy central shows that have struggled to stay on the air haven't really shown up on dvd that this one was dead in the water.

I was skeptical at first too, but if you give the show a try, and are not easily offended, it is hilarious!

How many episodes were made? I've seen them all I think. Was the last episode the one with the Apprentice spoof? Since then I've only seen repeats. If it is released on DVD I hope they keep it as is. It's funnier when they bleep the characters when their swearing.

Yeah, that was the season finale when they crash landed in the helicopter, which makes me think season 2 (if there is one) will be like Survivor.

Yeah, they should keep it bleeped, but I think it might be funnier if they unblurred all the pixelated stuff.

Drawn Together - Animated reality show is coming to DVD
Posted by Gord Lacey
7/22/2005

Paramount/Comedy Central have announced plans to release Drawn Together on October 4. This animated spoof of reality shows tosses eight distinct cartoon characters together, and forces them to live in a house (Real World/Big Brother).

The 152 min DVD will contain all 8 episodes of the show and sell for a suggested price of $26.99. Amazon.com is currently preselling the DVD for $18.89.

Updated info over at TVShowsOnDVD.

Looks like it'll be "uncensored," but there's also gonna be some changed music.

"Changed music"... that's becoming the norm.

Figured they would go with "uncensored" since that would definately raise interest.

Yup - but one was not shown because it may have offended a few people at the time. Paramount said they will insert it in Season Two.

wow - cool
Could this be a multi-cover thing - or is someone playing a prank?

My guess is that its a slide-out digi-pak and that's the other side of the inside showing through the front window.
