Spice World - Full Screen
WHAT??? No WS version of Spice World???? Damn...whatever shall we do???

It has been confirmed. The company was run by monkeys.
Yep, nothing like taking choice away from the consumer.

[QUOTE=chileorgullo]I went to circuit city today, saw four and justice for all on the shelf, just to be consistent, I checked and the last one was BOTH
got home opened it and it had both versions
all other 3 were fullscreen only

Something similiar happened to me. I went to Ciruit City. There was a bunch of FS versions, and one FS/WS. When I opened it, it was a flipper WS on one side, FS on the other. It doesn't say if it is anamorphic or not though.

Anyway. there's a talk down on HTF that Sony is doing this policy because they're expecting us cinephile to replace our DVD collection with the new high definition format. I don't know if this is true but whatever the reason they did that, I will make sure I will buy less of their product from now on.

Son of a bitch!

I just got ...And Justice For All, and yup, full-screen - I just assumed it'd be widescreen since the cover didn't say otherwise - there're teeny tiny writing on the back about it "fitting my screen", but c'mon! At least it was only $5 - but I still felt swindled.

I really hate Sony - besides this bullshit, how many classic Columbia movies are they still sitting on?

I still haven't heard any official reason for this- they MUST have gotten at least a few returns on these by now. They've certainly ensured that if I do buy a Blu-Ray player, it WON'T be a Sony.
