I would love to have the nightmare boxset in a keepcase. |
Just found The Astronaut's Wife at Circuit City in a keep-case
just saw Mortal Kombat and The Game in keep cases, I think those were previously in snapcases.
The Game is a Universal release, and before that a Polygram release I think? Either way, always a keepcase. Mortal Kombat was indeed a snapper since its a New Line release....I guess maybe the sequel might be in a keep case too?
I saw the keepcase version of Rush Hour at Walmart. Is it supposed to be identical disc-wise to the snapcase version? Does it come with an insert? Thanks!
From the Walmart $4.88 specials I found all these in keepcases.
Set it Off Money Talks Deep Cover Frequency The only New Line I haven't seen from them is Little Nicky |

Anyone come across In the Mouth of Madness in a keepcase yet?
What about Dark City? I had no idea Superman SE comes now in a keepcase!

I know it's not a WB title, but I saw a few copies of Predator 2: SE in a keepcase at Wal-Mart today. Until today I've only ever seen the SE in a digipak.
You can add
Where Eagles Dare The Dirty Dozen Battleground Calamity Jane With Steve McQueen Papillion The Getaway Bullitt With Bette Davis Dark Victory Now, Voyager With Joan Crawford Mildred Pierce The Women |
The Dirty Dozen is one of those weird ones like Brigadoon. The MGM DVD has been in both a snapper and a keepcase, the original WB version was a snapper, and now the latest WB version from the WWII Collection is in a keepcase.
Burnt Alive - how about an update?

Oh, really? I just took it for granted that it was just like the Predator 1: CE; they look like a matching pair. As is plainly obvious, I don't own the second one.
You can add New Line's "The Lawnmower Man" starring Pierce Brosnan to the list. Found it at Best Buy.
Found Lawnmower Man 2 at Walmart |
I think it's been mentioned, but I just saw Frequency in a Walgreens, of all places, in a keepcase.
You can add The Adventures of Pinnochio with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Martin Landau in a keepcase. At Walmart for $5.50

Damn. That list on the first page is really inaccurate.
This thread should either be cleaned up or shut down... the list on page one has a lot of bad information in it.
Agreed. That's why I requested an update last June.
I agree, clean up this thread!
What's up with the OP? What's the point of starting a thread if you're not going to update it? Looks like he only made one edit, the day after the thread was started, over a year ago. :wtf: |
Can't we just start another one of our own?
I think that's warranted at this point. Anyone want to volunteer to be the custodian?

I just emailed Dead. |
I think the new list should not necessarily list every new WB and New Line title that are all in keepcases now, and also seperate the discs that are simply repackaging of the original disc from those that are special edition releases. I actually think someone else started a list that did just that.

Is anyone aware if Training Day is in a keep case or is still in a snapper?

Btw, can we see about getting this potential new thread (or runnersdialzero's one if it can be updated to everyone's satisfaction) made into a sticky in the Covers & Cases forum? This topic seems to inspire a lot of individual threads...

Christmas Vacation is now in a keep case
Has anyone seen any of the other Vacation movies in keepcases? Those are four snappers I'd love to retire.
i know they double featured the the first two movies in a keep case, so i have a feeling you won't see upgrades of individual titles. I would think that Christmas Vacation is the best seller of the series, due to the holiday season alone, and was reason enough to upgrade it with this years pressings. I'd love to see a re-release of the box set in thin packs
