Jean Reno- Crimson Rivers 2 (March 29)

According to DVDANSWERS the sequel to the Crimson Rivers is set to be released (finally) in R1 land on March 29.

Via "answers":

"Early details have begun to emerge on Crimson Rivers: Angels of the Apocalypse which stars Jean Reno and Christopher Lee. The film, which was written by highly-acclaimed director Luc Besson, will be available to own from the 29th March this year. The retail price will be set at around $24.96. As well as a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and English Dolby Digital 5.1 track, the disc will include five behind the scenes featurettes, a making of featurette and a selection of deleted scenes. The artwork hasn't been released for this one yet I'm afraid, but we'll bring you that as soon as we get it. Stay tuned."

Thanks for the info. I literally was researching the non-R1 options for this DVD yesterday, but held off on purchasing it since the presence of English subs couldn't be confirmed. Glad I waited the extra day!

Matome:

I actually had a thread about this title in the International section and indeed there was plenty of controversy surrounding it. Two of my sources confirmed subs yet the single disc came out without subs. With the news for a R1 disc however you wont have to bother with the French disc....though the extras on it will sure not make it to the US.

Yep, your thread was the main one I was looking at. Not really an extras man, so I was looking to get the single disc anyway. Now, I'll just wait for the R1.
