Any news of a From Beyond DVD?

Still no update????

If I remember correctly, MGM was going to release this through Sony. Now that FOX has taken over for MGM I'm sure it will be released by them in the near future (I hope.)
Just an FYI, THE CHOCOLATE WAR dvd release is in the same boat.

A friend of mine saw the remastered uncut print at a screening recently, and said it looked amazing. Stewart Gordon was there and said that, as far as a dvd, it's pretty much ready to go, - the extras, the mastering - all the work is done and ready - they just have to work out the kinks in distribution and other lame legal stuff - IOW, blame the lawyers. He said that as long as you promise to buy the eventual dvd you should just torrent the movie to hold you over.
