Question about Matrix UE packaging.

I keep hearing about broken hubs, scuffed discs, scratched discs, and floating discs in the regular version of the Ult. Matrix Collection. I really don't feel like spending 30.00 more just for a bust I don't want and a book of art to ensure no damage to the packaging and discs. Are the problems that bad on the regular edition? Would the best thing to do is to check the set before I leave the store after I buy it? Thanks!

1. Shake the box slightly before buying. If you hear discs rattling around, move on to the next box.

2. Keep your receipt. If there is a problem, return the box to the store and exchange it for another copy.

It's not that difficult.

Bought the UE with no problems. Not a big fan of the packaging, but nothing damaged.

No problems here...shipped USPS from Amazon.

I actually think the packaging is pretty cool. Far superior to that 8 mile long foldout for the Alien set.

Mine's fine except for one hub in the Revolutions digipak. The one that holds the Revisited disc has one of the clip thingies broke off and therefore it doesn't hold the disc with any friction whatsoever. (ie. It's loose.) Unfortunately, I got mine from Amazon and didn't feel like going through the hassle of returning it.

You should pretty much follow what Mr. Salty said.

I saw, I shook, I bought. No problems.

Had absolutely no problems at all with mine. Not one little tiny itty bitty scratchy, not one hub missing one of those thingamabob's...
