Swimming With Sharks - FF Only?

A friend recommended this movie, and when I saw it at a local Futureshop, it was the Trimark release. On the back I saw it said in Full Frame. Is this the OAR for the movie?

I love this film but have been waiting for a better release.

However according to to IMDB the German disc is anamorphic 1.85:1 with 5.1 but only 89 mins.

The R1 disc is a flipper 1.85:1 Letterbox and Pan & Scan with 2.0 but is 101 mins.

it contains both full frame and widescreen...however, it is letterboxed.

I have the R2 UK which is 1.85:1 and also has a good director's commentary. I can't remember if it's anamorphic but I think so.

Great film!

Edit: It's not anamorphic; see my post, below.

Damn, I cannot freaking wait for a new R1 release. With commentary and anamorphic trailer.

OK, I compared my R1 disc and my R2 disc (which is actually an R0 disc, according to the specs on the box).

The British DVD is PAL, of course. But here's where it gets peculiar. Supposedly the film runs 101 minutes according to IMDb. But the American DVD says it's 93 minutes (not 101) and it is. The British DVD says it's 89 minutes (which would be a correct conversion with normal PAL speedup) but it actually runs 93 minutes (which would be about 97 minutes in NTSC). I don't know how long the film is actually supposed to run but the British disc has the George Huang commentary and he doesn't say there's anything wrong with the film as presented so I have to assume it's correct.

BTW, neither disc is anamorphic. There does seem to be a British disc newer than mine. Maybe it is anamorphic but I can't find any verification of that.

If the British DVD runtime matches the American one, then it is likely a NTSC to PAL transfer.
