Thanks for asking but regrettably, I don't. I myself would love to see my collection online as it would help me enormously. I have so many DVDs that sometimes I forget what I have.

* Alfred Hitchcock - 42 titles, plus the 4 'Presents' discs. Don't have that new WB box yet, but I have everything else that's in R1
* Robert Altman - 22 films counting the Brazilian import of 'Kansas City' and the Canadian 'Caine Mutiny' disc, plus 'Tanner '88', the one 'Bonanza' of his eight which is on DVD, a R2 DVD of 'Gun' (all six episodes), and 'Aria' (which he did a segment in) ... still haven't picked up 'California Split'
* Charlie Chaplin - 9 films (both 'Modern Times' releases), 7 discs of shorts (Mutuals, Essanays, First National), plus I'm not sure how many; I have a few discs from the Madacy "Essential" collection, covering the really early shorts, but they're not listed on dvdaf, so I'm not sure off-hand. Still need 'The Circus', 'Monsieur Verdoux' is on its way to me.
* Steven Spielberg - 15 films, counting the 'Something Evil' bootleg. Still need 'Color Purple', 'Schindler's List', and 'The Terminal'. (I have a really good VHS copy of 'Sugarland', so I'm holding off to see if a better release comes along.)
* Stanley Kubrick - 12 films plus the doc disc, plus the unreleased stuff on VHS. Still haven't gotten the alt cut of 'The Shining' from R2, but I do have 'Eyes Wide Shut' that way. Haven't decided if I'm buying the new mis-framed 'Strangelove' disc.
* Martin Scorsese - 11 films plus 'New York Stories'.
* John Carpenter - 10 films, including both 'Halloween' releases and the British imports of 'Starman', 'Prince of Darkness', and 'They Live'. Still don't have 'Precinct 13', 'In The Mouth of Madness', or that French 'Vampires' disc. Oh, and I have to upgrade "The Thing" at some point.
* Oliver Stone - 9 films, plus the theatrical version of 'JFK' from R2. Still don't have 'Born on the Fourth', 'Natural Born Killers', or 'Comandante' from R2. [Sadly, when my DVD collection was stolen last year, one of the things I lost was the dir cut of NBK signed by Stone.]
* Woody Allen - 8 films, plus 'New York Stories'. I'd have more of these, as I love Allen, but I already had them all on VHS, and the upgrade doesn't add much. So I'm doing it gradually, as I find them cheap.
* Ridley Scott - 7 films, two versions of 'Alien'. Don't have 'Matchstick Men', and I'm waiting for a better release of 'Blade Runner' (which, I believe, is one of the signs of the apocalypse).
* the Coen brothers - 7 films. I have a few others on VHS, still have to grab 'Man Who Wasn't There' and 'Ladykillers'.
* Steven Soderbergh - 7 films, counting the Brazilian release of his Yes concert movie. Still need to get a few of the good releases for his lesser movies, though.
* Peter Jackson - 6 films. Just waiting on better releases for 'Feebles' and 'Frighteners' ('Heavenly Creatures' could be a more special edition too), haven't picked up the theatrical LotRs yet.

Then there's Terry Gilliam (5 plus 'La Mancha'), Kevin Smith (5), Sergio Leone (5 plus the old GBU disc), George Romero (5 plus 'Two Evil Eyes'; need to get at least one of the Martin discs, though), Tim Burton (5), Sam Raimi (4), James Cameron (4) ... people I'm all or mostly caught up on, just waiting for better releases on the rest of their titles. [Also, I have five Robert Zemeckis movies, but that's largely because of the 'Future' trilogy.] And non-prolific people; I'm 2 for 3 on Terrence Malick, 4 for 5 on David Fincher, 3 for 5 on Bryan Singer, 2 for 4 on both P.T. & Wes Anderson as well as Quentin Tarantino, 2 for 5 on Cameron Crowe, 2 for 2 on both Darren Aronofsky and "Savage Steve" Holland and, oddly, 3 for 5 on Frank Hennenlotter. But they don't have enough films to get on the upper list, even if I had them all.

Next year, I need to put a bit of focus on Francis Coppola (3, but I haven't gotten the Godfathers yet), David Lynch (3), David Cronenberg (4), David Lean (2), Rob Reiner (4; I want to fill the gaps between 'Spinal Tap' [I have both versions] and 'Few Good Men'), Peter Bodganovich (only 2, and neither is 'Last Picture Show'), and the Christopher Guest collection (I don't have *any* just now). [A lot of the odd gaps in my collection are because my DVDs were stolen about a year and a half ago, so there's some stuff I haven't yet replaced on the grounds that I already watched it; I mean, I've seen everything I need to from that 'Godfather' box, for instance, so I don't need to get it again right away.]

I suspect it is Steven Spielberg. I have 22 films that he directed. This is an interesting subject though, I think I might add a column to my spreadsheet that I keep track of my DVDs with and put the director in there.

Strange that this is the number of DVD's I own from these various directors because if I were to actually rank my favorite directors, it would be a very different order. I guess it has a lot to do with DVD availability.
