Glad I never picked up the first release, but what else is on this disc besides DTS?

I adore the film and own 2 ferrits myself
and its always been with me thru my life and its just a great film with plenty to like.
I really enjoyed the last dvd they did, so this new documentary should be the main thing for me, just hope they interview all the stars
esspecially a certain lady.

Thanks for the specs!
I love the cover, but the other cover is kick ass as well.

I think this disc is only $12 on DDD. I own the TV series as well. The series is actually quite good. A bit like Hercules but with much less campiness. Much more serious plot threads and season-long arcs.
I'll probably get this SE release, just for S&G (shits and giggles).

Is the audio and video transfer the same? The last release also features anamorphic WS and DTS 6.1 sound. It also has a commentary and picutre galleries.
Why can't the new release contain EVERYTHING the previous release had, PLUS the new stuff?
Looks like I'll be renting the new one to watch the documentary. I say screw these useless "upgrades".

I am sure the transfer will be different as it says Divimax and thats a whole new process to tranfer it to dvd so the transfer has to be new, apart from that the documentary seems the only other thing at the moment from the specs, so hopefully its more than just a new cover and transfer (which seriosuly wont look different from the old one) and a Documentary which may or may not even feature any actors.

Well the Grain may or may not be done with the Divimax process, guess we will have to wait and see as it may be just minor changes, until a review pops up we will have to wait and see

I am still waiting for the 2nd & 3rd films (which I find charming and fun even if some others don't due to the time/dimensional travel aspects of the films) to hit DVD...any news on them?

The 3rd film is one of the worst things I have ever seen in my life! you will cry of you waztch it, so dont! its a patetic TV movie piece of crap! with an appauling cast!
but I got my Divimax dvd and now need to work out if its better than the old version? picture and sound wise? so a good comparison will be needed as i will watch it soon the whole beautiful dvd (pity about the crap cover! and mine was a rattler and I may send it back)
