Yeah they really did a nice job with the packaging. The quality of the video is impressive - better than I'd expected anyway. Someone definitely took some care with the entire project. I'd picked up the Blue Lion thinking I might just get one of the sets just to relive some childhood wonderment but after watching a few episodes I'll have to complete the set of tins as they come out.

I got this at a considerable price of $20 when it was originally release at Wherehouse back in Nov.

*I agree with other members who noticed how sensitive the TIN case is. So my best advise, make sure the one you got has an embossed mouth of the blue lion if you buy the TIN set. Most TIN I saw were heavily dented

Found volume 3 last night at FYE before I went to see Spider-Man 3. Looks like another great set....although the pose on the back of the tin is a little disturbing.....lol

How much was it at FYE? Was it the same as their website ($22.99)? If so, i'll be going looking for it there.

TVShowsondvd.com has an article up that the Red Lion is coming out possibly September 25th...This would be great and then hopefully get the Black Lion by X-Mas perhaps?

4 months until the Red Lion set is released? Jeez, I wonder what the holdup on these is. The Green Lion one took forever to be released also.

What's the space been between the other releases? I don't think 4 months is that long a time.

Blue 9/26
Yellow 12/12
Green 5/8
Red 9/26 (unconfirmed)

So just over 2 and a half months between the first and second volumes, 5 months between the second and third, and 4 and a half apparently for the next onw.

Was it only FYE who released the Green Lion this week?

Best Buy ($24.99) and Wal-Mart should have them.

Me too, looking forward to completing the collection. I'm hoping they will start releasing the vehicle Voltron sets once they are done with the lions.

Do we have any other credible sources that this is coming out on the 25th? Cause I haven't heard anything for months...

We got the Red Lion vol. 4 in at work last week (FYE). Should be out next week, or sooner depending on if a store puts them out early.

According to epguides.com there is still a lot of episodes in this series, what are your thoughts on what we could see after the black lion comes out?

I'm wondering if they moved the street date up a week on the Vol. 4 Red Lion set, because it was out at both my local Walmart and Best Buy....picked it up at Best Buy myself for $24.99, and will go back Sunday when their ad comes out to get my $5 credited back (it will be $19.99 next week there)....
