Just to cash in on the sequel. Good for anyone that didn't buy the original on DVD. I thought maybe they were going to include Ringu or something.

Wow, how cheap is this? And I mean quality wise, not cost. No sale.

So no deleted scenes of some of the more infamous subplots that were removed from the film? Booo. :(

I was just stating it would be a better set for people that didn't own either to include both. |

What infamous subplots? If you're refering to the alternate ending, that's not a subplot. |

I thought of LOTR...i hope i wasnt alone! G x |
What infamous subplots? If you're refering to the alternate ending, that's not a subplot. I remember that the original first cut of the film was very dark and just plain weird. One thing that was deleted was a whole subplot involving more of how Samara's "powers" came to be (all I remember from that was her mother being injected with horse semen). Also, Chris Cooper had his entire subplot cut out from the film (in which he played a murderer). And there were a handful of scenes deleted, some of which were available on the DVD (some were also mentioned on the trivia page of IMDb last time I checked). |
Shameless cashing in. I wouldn't mind betting they include this with Ring 2 when it arrives on DVD.
|
It will all be included on DVD as one complete film. It will be included on the 'Super Extravagant Special Extended Ultimate Dip - A Ring Is 360 Degrees Which Means It Goes Round And Round And Double Dipping Never Ends' Edition.
