I just want an anamophic version of it and I will be happy. There was no good excuse for studios not making all widescreen DVDs anamorphic from the beginning instead of picking and choosing for whatever random reason.

Well, several articles I've read have claimed that Mike Judge recorded a commentary for it, so I'm presuming it will be on there. Of course, we expected the same thing with the commentary Linklater recorded for Dazed and Confused and that was nowhere to be found.

Hi -- just came across this forum from Google. We recently received in our office a sell sheet from 20th Cent. Fox to cross-promote with the Special Edition (with Flair!). The DVD street date is 8-2-05.
