I've been searching everywhere for info on "the Odd Couple" on DVD. One of my favorite shows that I need in my library but up until now I didnt think it existed. Is this legit?..or is this burned on DVD from old VHS tapes???

DVD Talk Legend
If you didn't find it for sale anyplace else other than this eBay auction, I'd say it's as ill-legit as they come. That, and it looks like pretty crappy packaging. Who made it...Ronco?

DVD Talk Gold Edition
Ask the seller what the source was and how many episodes are on each DVD. Quality etc...
They have another FULL set available:

Thats what I thought but I wanted to be sure. Thanks for the replies. Seems like every other show on TV gets put on DVD, but The Odd Couple is a classic and yet nothing.....oh well.

It is definitely bootleg. I have held off buying a bootleg set, hoping that studio would finally release this show on dvd. With all of the crap shows that have made their way to dvd, its amazing that this show has been ignored. It still to this day does very well in syndication.
