I was buying some DVDs online one day and I came across "The Order" for 5 bucks. I was like whoa that is cheap as hell and just tossed it into my shopping cart without actually reading the info on it, I thought it was the new one, but to my suprise when I got my movies it was some old ass movie with Jean Claude Van Dam. Needless to say I was irrate.

Thought I bought a Widescreen version of Red Dragon, but bought a Full Screen version. Same with Jaws.

once, found Silence of the Lambs at BBV shortly after release, quite cheap. I was so excited I negleted to notice that it was Full Screen. Took it back, that was all they carried.
Another duh moment happened two days ago (un-dvd related) I ordered some photos I uploaded off of Shutterfly.com and got them back the other day. I received everything, but one photo I received 23 copies of. D'oh! I remember wanting 2 then I changed it to a 3. But I guess that never happened. I guess I just added a 3 to the 2. $5 for those 23 pictures. Ended up putting one in every Christmas card.

I did this once. I meant to buy Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and ended up with Dungeons & Dragons. Don't ask me how. I didn't realize till I got to the parking lot. Now I love Thora Birch but not enough to buy that piece of shit.

Well, my "I thought I bought, but I got" episode wasn't my fault and I was pretty pissed with what I got.
I ordered from DeepDiscountCD a 2-disc version of a album, (which was the only version listed, BTW) and got the 1-disc version. I figured that because they didn't have any other version listed that it wouldn't do any good to send it back. Unfortunately, the single disc version is missing about 5 songs. But fortunately, this particular album was just a compilation of remixed and resung songs from earlier albums.

I wanted to get the DVD Last Resort with the Coreys and a special appearance by Dread Zeppelin for the closing scene. What I got was a lame comedy also entitled Last Resort!
