Good thread. . .
I think the first was either Mars Attacks or Starship Troopers
The last was just today, Mickey Mouse in B&W Vol 2. . . soon to be replaced by LOTR:ROTK EE!
How about adding your first player and last player. . .
First Pioneer DV-606D (from Costco for a mere $379)
Last LG LST3510A (HDTV OTA receiver and HD upconverting DVD player combo, just yesterday for a mere $199! open box at BB), also running Toshiba SD4900 all region, Pioneer DV563, and Panasonic E80 recorder. . .

First: Goldeneye and Tommorrow Never Dies at Sam's Club - Dec 99
-I can still vividly remember standing there pondering about what to get. I never thought that first purchase would have such a lasting impression
Last: Man on Fire (Target BF Rain Check)
I remember being a little tentative in 99 about investing in DVD. I wasn't sure if it would overtake VHS and/or be adopted so exponentiallly fast. I was sure wrong to have any doubts!!

The first disc I ever bought was the Halloween Special Edition from Anchor Bay. I didn't even own a DVD player at the time (don't ask). My most recent disc was King of Kings.
