Yeah!! Even though I just bought The Philadelphia Story.

And they're both in digipacks! This is the best DVD news I've heard in a long time!!

Excellent news. "Bringing Up Baby" is simply one of the funniest screwball comedies ever made. About time!

Scratch another off my most wanted list. No Cary Grant collection is complete with Bringing Up Baby.

I'm glad I held off on buying "The Philadelphia Story..."

Both great movies that I can't wait to have in my collection.

The news for classic film fans is even better!

from Digital Bits:

"Warner Bros has also revealed a nice slate of DVDs for release on 3/1. These include a Bringing Up Baby: Special Edition (2-discs, SRP $26.99), Dinner at Eight (1933, $19.97), Libeled Lady ($19.97), The Philadelphia Story: Special Edition (2-discs, $26.99), Stage Door ($19.97), To Be or Not to Be ($19.97)..."

Personally, I'm just as excited about Libeled Lady and To Be or Not to Be as I am about Bringing Up Baby (three of the great film comedies of all-time, IMHO.)

A SE of the Philadelphia Story is certainly welcomed, but the release of Bringing Up Baby is great news indeed. Keep'em coming Warner Brothers!

Very good news! All great films, and most of them long overdue on DVD. And nice to know that none of them will be snappers. Very happy with Warner Bros. lately.

Thanks for the links to the covers... I love how someone at DVDAnswers' sees To Be or Not to Be as a Robert Stack film (must be an "Untouchables" fan.)

UPDATE: It looks like Warner Bros. is going to release all six films in a box set entitled "Classic Comedies Collection." The set is not up for preorder at Amazon at this time (12/14), but MoviesUnlimited.com shows it with a list price of $69.99.

http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musit...asp?sku=D73212

If Amazon does their usual 30% discount, this puppy will be a "must-buy" at ~$44 w/STL.
