italian job, gone in 60 seconds...

fast and the furious, 2 fast 2 furious.

These are all movies that my sister likes, and I'm trying to think of a DVD to get her for Christmas.

Can anyone recommend movies similar to these from the past few years? (She hates "old" movies which means just about anything before 1995 or so)

Torque & Biker Boyz (they're basically The Fast and the Furious with motorcycles)

Torque is one of the worst movies ever made, IMO.

Only get those two if you hate her. If you are looking for movies with long, good car chases, check out Bourne Indentity or Transporter.

Torque was very fun -- a trashy action flick that knows it's trash and goes so far over the deep end into sheer preposterousness that it's almost endearing. As close to being an 80-minute beer commercial as you're likely to ever see.

I think 'Swordfish' would fit in with what she seems to like.

I concur. It had a minute or two of good stuff but thats it. When it came to motorbike Fu and the train scene... it lost all its respect, if it even had any.

Ronin is a good close for the three car movies.

For a similar to Italian Job, try Ocean's 11.

If she likes cars, get her a copy of NFS Underground 2 or GTA: San Andreas.
