Marc Walkow has apparently been working on producing some bonus features for a "mystery" Miike film rerelease on both DVD and Blu-Ray, although the hints he apparently gave essentially confirmed that it was for Audition. He hasn't said which company is releasing it (although he did confirm in an e-mail to a poster on criterionforums.com that it wasn't Criterion), though it should be announced soon.

On topic, I'm glad Shout is doing a new high-def transfer from the internegative. The old Chimera disc was non-anamorphic and the Lionsgate release was a bad PAL to NTSC transfer. The BD should look good. |

i clicked on this thinking "What the hell" because I have this movie and its not expensive at all and has a blu ray version coming out soon...then i see it started all the way back in '04. I bought uncut edition of this movie for real cheap off columbia house, it might have even been a free selection. My friend told me it was so great and blah blah blah and built it up so darn much that when i watched it, I felt very unsatisfied. It seemed boring. Ill admit it had a couple good parts, but it wasnt as big of a deal as he lead me to believe. Thats why now he refuses to hype anything up for me. My favorite Foreign horror films are probably High Tension and Inside.

i was wondering, has anyone been able to find this at a place like best buy?i really wanna pick it up tomorrow before work, but wanna make sure that BB is carrying it in most stores first

None of my local Best Buys have it, I've looked. Not sure where to find it in a B&M, I'm going to try Movie Trading Company tomorrow.
