Is the tide turning at Lion's Gate? If they give us an uncut undubbed High Tension immediately on dvd. I will say yes. If not,I will say LG is the 'same old'(ie-excessive waiting for the uncut release..if ever) ;) |
shit, i guess ill hold onto mine for a bit longer. or maybe i should jsut get rid of it. I didn't even care for the movie that much.

Incredible, I just sold my copy for $120 on ebay last week and now there is a new version coming. Incredible!
|
Damn,DX....and just last night a friend and I were laughing at the prices on ebay and amazon for R1 copies of the film. The highest was $200,the 'lowest' was $120. We said no one in their right mind would pay that much for a dvd. I guess we were wrong:D
Haha...jokes on them though, they wasted an insane amount of money on an inferior dvd release! |

Fangoria.com Lions Gate Films’ director of marketing Chela Johnson shared with Fango the DVD art for the new special-edition DVD of Takashi Miike’s AUDITION, hitting shelves August 23, which we first reported on here. Johnson also confirmed that one of the extras on the disc will be the segment on Miike’s modern cult classic from Bravo’s 100 SCARIEST MOVIE MOMENTS. The disc, which also supplements the uncut, unrated movie with new artwork, additional scenes, an introduction by the director and an interview with screenwriter Ryu Murakami, will list for $19.98. |

Part with the old region 1 if you've still got it, but you might consider holding onto those R2/UK or German discs until some reviews shake out... early reports from a forum member suggests this may be a PAL-sourced transfer: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showpos...66&postcount=9
