The Last Emperor
even though the film is on DVD right now, the quality of that transfer is so bad that I categorize that as a divx version rather than DVD.
So does anyone know if the film is going to be re-released again in a better shape I hope?

I believe France has the best version Currently available. Unfortunatley, it only contains the French dub track and no English subs.

Hang loose, it's on the way... And yes, the current DVD is shit, to put it mildly.

I have the new 2 disc UK director cut. It's far better (by miles) than the terrible Artisan disc, but it's still not good enough for this great film.
