$30 + shipping doesn't seem so steep. It is a LOT of animation. No more than a season of The Simpsons.

It will be mine. It, and all the parsnips. We'll have parsnip pie and emails.

$30 plus shipping isn't a bad deal, especially considering how much entertainment they've already given us for free. I'm definitely ordering a set!

Don't forget, you get freebies for ordering. Personally I am going all out and getting my wife some Christmas presents (she is a big fan - already has the StrongBad hoodie). I will end up qualifying for ultimate jumbo freebie or whatever that biggest one is. The stuff is expensive, but you have to remember they don't exactly have a budget like Fox, Paramount, Unversal, etc. I am looking forward to this set (the emails are really all I ever got into - Trogdor rules). I may sneak it open before I wrap it, must resist.

Already ordered... This is a great DVD to put in when friends are over just hanging out, etc. I love what the guys at homestarrunner.com do and I don't mind helping to support them one bit. I would recommend buying something else with your DVD so you can get a nice freebie and offset the steep shipping.

We started watching it and for what it is I am quite pleased. There is a little drag as far as some of the menues, but no worse than some major studios.

You can watch the emails by name, or play all, or play in groups of ten. To enable the easter eggs in the emails you have to watch it episode by episode and somewhat know when to look since there is no mouse action. We have no gotten to one with an easter egg midway through, but I am wondering how that will be dealt with.

The audio is pretty good - it is loud (recorded kind of high). The video is pretty much what you expect with animation - the colors seemed sharp and vibrant to me.

As for the actual content, most of it is really pretty much what is on the website. I would only recommend to fans. If you have never seen it, go to the site and watch some emails before buying blind.

Overall I am pleased. It seems a little high, but when you get it, you can see they put a lot of work into it. Really, this reminds me of the Freaks & Geeks Yearbook edition - those that want it are not worried about the price, and if you are worried you probably don't need it as there is a cheaper alternative (website). Then only complaint I heard was my wife wanted the shorts from the website on DVD also - if this works well, I am sure we will see them at some point.

Highly recommended for hardcore fans

I'm enjoying it as well and agree with everything said above. I've skimmed through the first disc, and i like the extras i found. An unfinished cartoon was humorous, and i liked the compilations of all the scroll button jingles Also, there are commentary tracks in some of the emails (and in the unfinished cartoon easter egg) so remember to check for different audio tracks in some of the emails

It's not overpriced AT ALL. Worth every penny. And I'm only on disc 1...

Remind me again the appeal of hiding most of the extras?

If you choose FedEx ground as a shipping option, SHIPPING IS FREE!

Not sure why, might be a glitch or mistake, but that's how it adds up.

How much content is invcluded here (total time)?

I have nothing to add to this thread, but I thought I should make an appearance due to my username.

Wish i had tried that, my order ended up being $116 roughly, with over $12 being shipping

Oh, I like your name Burninator - I got my wife the Trogdor shirt and I think she was more excited than when I last bought here jewelry.
