The Crying Game SE coming in January

From DavisDVD:
Lion Gate Home Entertainment will release The Crying Game: Collector's Edition on January 25th. The film with a big surprise (we won't tell, even though you probably already know) will arrive with a newly remastered anamorphic transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 tracks, DTS 5.1, an audio commentary with director Neil Jordan, an alternate ending (with optional commentary), a making-of featurette and another featurette examining the war in Northern Ireland as seen through the eyes of a Catholic cabbie from Belfast and a Protestant paramilitary construction worker. Retail will be $19.98.
DDD has it up for pre-order, for only $10.63

Let's see: the movie, a commentary track and two featurettes.

My guess is one disc.

This is true, but One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest only has one featurette and it's still a double disc.

Cuckoo's Nest is 133 minutes long. The Crying Game is 112.

Disc 2 of Cuckoo's Nest features a 47 minute documentary and 8 additional scenes. From what we know, The Crying Game will include 2 "featurettes" (which tend to run anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes) and an alternate ending.

I'm still betting it'll be a 1-discer.

Excellent news and a great price. The original dvd is absolutely dreadful. So it will be great to own a properly transfered version of the film.

What great news! I almost bought the current DVD just last week, but then I thought "They've gotta come out with a better DVD than this some day." Apparently that day is in January 25th.

So is this title still set to be released on the 25th of January?

I'm surprised there aren't any reviews for this disc yet considering it was released days ago.
