Probably not. Would only happen to try to cash in on a tie-in to another Wayan's opus, and that's still a long shot.

Well, it's not really a special edition, but at least it's anamorphic.

Interesting they should release a Special Edition to co-incide with the Criterion edition of Menace II Society. But you didn't hear that from me.
