Sweet! I have been wanting to see this movie again. It's been too long.

Hmmm....I used to love this movie as a cheesey '80s sci-fi fantasy movie. Had it on VHS taped from HBO.

Shame the sound will only be mono. Can't believe that there's not at least a 2.0 Surround track.

OH...MY.... GOD!!! Finally, now I know the excitement everyone was gushing over the Star Wars release with. This is my Star Wars. I love this movie.

I met Ron Perlman at a convention last year, & while it was all Hellboy everything & we weren't allowed to take picture with him & only get one thing signed, I brought up my original Ice Pirates one-sheet, that he laughed really hard, & then we talked a little bit, & I got to take a picture with him & some extra autographs.

Pearlman was in Ice Pirates? As who? I don't remember him in that...but then again, Pearlman was a relative unknown at that time as his only other known role was in Quest for Fire.

Oh man...haven't seen this in years (which is a good thing ;)).

I may actually pick it up for old time's sake though.

He was one of the Ice Pirate guys. I don't remember what his name was in the movie, but he was on the bridge alot.

Yeah Ron played Xeno or something like that didnt he? Im glad its gonna be one of those under $10 movies since it has NO extras.

Oh yeah, OK...I remember...just didn't know that was Pearlman, but like I said, at that time who knew who he was.

The anctidote about the convention meeting from above along with that shot makes the convention meeting even the more funny.

My favorite part from Ice Pirates is any scene with Mary Crosby. I had a crush on her back in the '80s.

But seriously, just after looking at the coverart, how could you not want this on DVD? It's so cheesy, you can't resist. Come on Columbia, MGM is releasing Ice Pirates, now it's YOR turn.

HOT DIGGITY DAMMIT! This has been near the top of my list for years. I probably haven't seen it in 10+ years, I hope I still think it's good when I see it again!

Haha, kick ass!! Thought I would never see the day. First caught this waaaaay back on late-night TV on a double-bill with Buckaroo Bonzai, and liked Ice Pirates better. I was maybe 7 years old, but still, I had good taste back then.
